Industrial warehouses usually have galvanized metal roofs (standing seam type) or asbestos cement, covering thousands of square meters. These huge structures face specific problems:

• Thermal expansion: The Medellin sun causes the metal to expand during the day and contract at night. This constant movement loosens screws and breaks rigid seals.
• Gutter corrosion: Industrial gutters handle massive volumes of water. If they rust and fail, water directly floods the production area.

1. Re-torquing and elastic sealing

Inspection of each fastener (screw). Replacement of damaged neoprene washers and application of polyurethane sealants that withstand thermal movement.

2. Gutter treatment

Deep cleaning and application of epoxy coatings or asphalt membranes in collecting gutters to stop oxidation.
